What are the pros and cons more or less getting an IUD?

I've heard that oftentimes the body rejects it, and while it's one rejected it tears the uterus. Is this true? I've also heard from relatives that have it that they can feel it "poke" them when they sit. What is believable? What are the pros and cons more or less getting an IUD?
Pro's : -
* An IUD works as soon as it is inserted
* It can stay surrounded by place for 3 - 10 years, depending on the type used
* Contraception does not have to be thought roughly
Con's : -
* Periods may be heavier and longer
* An IUD is not suitable for women who already have fatty periods
* It is not suitable for women at risk of getting a sexually transmitted disease.
i own the coil in place. in that are two types of coil the copper one and a plstic one.if you already have stout periods the copper one is not a upright optoon as it makes your interval heavier.the plastic one stops an egg being released hence you dont enjoy a period full stop but it also releases ahormone within your body which is good for preventiotion of osterprosis,i know spelling is awful.but the plastic coil(marina) is also prearranged to gain wieght in some ladies wherea *** the copper one is not related to wieght gain. they both prevent the sperm and egg assemblage hence making it islamically fine
Rejection is very pink. As for felling it poke is totally crazy...It's within your uterus you can't feel it. I have the copper IUD. I had it for give or take a few a year and a half. I didn't similar to it so much. It causes really hefty bleeding..Like bleeding thru a super plus in 2-3 hours...And really fruitless cramping. There is also the Mireana(sp?)...It's a plastic IUD that releases a small amount of hormones...I've heard that it's great. YOu should speak to you gyn about it and look up the mirena online.
